Najaxa Middle Office · Agents

AI agents welcome.

Middle Office has an MCP server. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your own agent. Ask about time, placements, pay, bill, and margin, and approve, reject, or remind from the same conversation.

Operational detail

Ask about the operational detail.

Approved time, the rate that applied, what the hours converted into, what was billed, and the margin. That is what a staffing firm actually needs to know.

We build Najaxa with AI tools every day. Our customers should have the same access to their own data, in the tools they already use, without waiting on a report.

The same conversation can do the approval work. Approve, reject, or remind, as you.

Underneath is the Najaxa Ontology, one definition of how the staffing business fits together. Your assistant gets customers, placements, rates, time, and pay and bill, not unexplained tables.

Things you can ask

Just ask.

Plain language about the work. Questions come back from the records. Approvals, rejections, and reminders happen in Middle Office.

  • Which timesheets are still waiting on approval this week? Group them by customer.
  • What is waiting on my approval?
  • Approve Carol’s timesheet. Reject Dave’s Saturday and tell him what looks wrong.
  • Remind Jordan to submit time for this period.
  • What did we bill this customer last month, and what was the margin by placement?
  • Which placements have no time entered for this period?
  • Which workers went over 40 hours across all of their placements this week?
  • Which timesheet lines were adjusted after approval, and by whom?

Approval

Do the approval work.

See what is waiting on you, open the timesheet, approve or reject it, or remind a worker who has not submitted. It uses the access you already have in Middle Office.

  • Waiting on you

Timesheets you can approve, one row per worker and period, with hours, status, and the placements on that timesheet.

  • The lines

Open one worker’s period and see every line, grouped by placement: pay code, hours, in and out, notes, and adjustments.

  • Approve or reject

The whole timesheet, one placement, or individual lines. A rejection can include the note the worker sees. The actions in one request all go through, or none of them do.

  • A reminder

Ask a worker to submit time that is still open. When the placement is set to notify them, Middle Office sends the reminder and records that it went out.

Records

Those records, in one conversation.

Your assistant queries the same reporting model Middle Office reports use, including your custom fields and the IDs from your ATS and back office.

  • Time

Timesheet lines, hours, pay codes, time in and out, notes, and every adjustment with who made it.

  • Placement periods

Each placement’s period: whether time was entered, its status, and whether it was approved.

  • Placements and people

Placements, workers, customers, and groups, with your custom fields and the IDs from your other systems.

  • Pay and bill

Converted and current amounts and rates on each side, so margin is one question away.

  • Batches

The pay and bill batches each line landed in, their status, and whether they are finalized.

  • Notifications

The emails Middle Office sent: reminders and notices, who received them, and when.

You stay in control

Done as you.

  • It acts as you

The assistant uses your sign-in. Questions stay inside your report access. Approvals and reminders stay inside the access you already have for that work.

  • It answers, and it acts

Ask about time, placements, pay and bill, margin, batches, and the notices Middle Office sent. Approve, reject, or remind in the same conversation.

Connect your assistant

Add the address, allow access, ask.

Your address is the Middle Office address you sign in at, with /mcp on the end. Add it to your assistant, sign in, and choose Allow access. Building something bigger? See how Middle Office connects to the systems you run.

  • Claude

On claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with your address. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http najaxa followed by your address.

  • ChatGPT

Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Create. Turn on developer mode under Advanced if Create is missing. Paste in your address, choose OAuth, and leave the client ID blank.

  • Cursor and VS Code

Add an HTTP MCP server named Najaxa with your address. The editor opens Middle Office so you can sign in and allow access.

  • Your own agents

Any client that supports MCP over HTTP with OAuth connects the same way. The server sits on the same platform as the Middle Office API, webhooks, and NMO Sync.

Questions

I have questions…

Whose records does it use?

Yours. Questions use the customers, placements, and fields in your report access. Approvals and reminders use the access you already have for that work.

Who can connect?

Anyone who can sign in to Middle Office. Before anything connects, Middle Office shows a page naming the assistant and your account, and you choose Allow access or Deny.

Can it approve time?

Yes. Ask it to approve or reject a timesheet, a placement, or individual lines. A rejection can include the note the worker sees. It can also remind a worker who has not submitted.

Do you train AI models on our data?

No. Your assistant reads from Middle Office when you ask it something. How that assistant handles the conversation is set by its own policies, so check its settings.

Does it work with the other systems we run?

Yes. Connect Middle Office next to your other connectors and ask across them. Middle Office carries the IDs from your ATS and back office, so answers line up with the records there.

How do I disconnect?

Remove Najaxa from your assistant’s connectors. Everything in Middle Office stays where it was.
