Najaxa Data Team · SQL Server
SQL Server, wherever it runs.
Azure SQL, SQL Server on an Azure VM, or the server in the office. The work is the database: a health assessment, performance that starts with a number, availability groups, a migration, or a DBA who stays. Some customers came only for SQL Server.
The engagement
How the work goes.
A structured health assessment.
Configuration, performance, backups, security, and the conditions that fail when ownership is unclear.
A US engineer reads the evidence and writes the report. The findings are yours. Time and materials. You see the hours as the work happens.
Performance work that starts with a number.
We establish the workload, the wait profile, the duration, and the resource ceiling before we recommend a change.
An index, a query, a configuration change, or more capacity comes after that number exists. The database under Dynamics GP is SQL Server. We look after the health of it, the performance, and the part that has to stay up so payroll still runs.
Availability groups and migrations.
When the database has to stay up, or when it has to move.
Availability groups for the database that payroll depends on. Migrations when the server, the version, or the platform has to change. We have run Dynamics GP and Business Central side by side without interrupting payroll.
Ongoing DBA coverage.
A month-to-month retainer with hours included. US-based engineers who already know staffing systems.
Some customers run Middle Office. Some came only for SQL Server. The data team has its own customers, engineers, and work. If the work is the firm's own system, that is the data practice.
